MP3XD respects the intellectual property rights of third parties and expects its users to do the same. This page explains our policy for copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
About our service
MP3XD is a tool that lets users convert YouTube content to MP3 and download it for personal, offline use. We do not host, store or distribute copyright-protected content. Conversions are processed in real time and we do not keep media files on our servers. Users are responsible for making sure they have the rights or permission required to download and convert any content.
Copyright infringement notice
If you believe that content available through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a removal notice under the DMCA. Your notice must include: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorised representative; identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; identification of the material that should be removed; your contact information; a good-faith statement; and a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury.
How to submit a DMCA notice
Send the required information to our designated copyright agent using the contact details published on this site. Include “DMCA Notice” in the subject line. We review every properly submitted notice and take appropriate action.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice that includes: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material; a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was an error; and your consent to jurisdiction. We process valid counter-notices in accordance with the DMCA.
Repeat infringers
MP3XD maintains a policy of terminating access for users identified as repeat infringers. We take copyright compliance seriously and cooperate with rights holders to address legitimate concerns.
Fair use
MP3XD supports the principle of fair use as defined by copyright law. Converting content for personal, non-commercial and offline use may qualify as fair use in many jurisdictions. However, users are responsible for how they use the files they download.
